Birds are thought to have evolved from dinosaurs. Through the study of the fossil record, scientists have discovered that some dinosaurs have similar anatomical features to birds. The fossil record shows that some dinosaurs have similar bone structure and some even have feathers.
The fossil record even shows that some dinosaurs display similar behaviours to birds like laying eggs in nests, incubating and caring for their young.
