You spend $13 out of $25.

$13 is spent out of $25. To find the percentage of spent we divide by 13 by 25 and then we multiply by 100.

We always multiply by 100 to get percentage (%).

Percent that was spent = [tex] \frac{13}{25} [/tex] = 0.52

Now we multiply by 100

0.52 * 100 = 52%

Percentage spent = 52%
