x = 90 degrees
angle B = 47 degrees
add them together = 137
subtract from 180 = 43
y = 43 degrees

x = 90 degrees as it is at a right angle.

To find Y, I believe you would have 180 - 90 = 90 and then 90 - 47 = 43
y = 43
