First subtract 3 to both sides to isolate x

2-21-3 = -x

Now calculate what is 2-21-3.

-19-3 = -x

-22 = -x

Now divide both sides to -1 to get x positive.

-22 / -1 = -x / -1

22 = x

So x is equal to 22.

If it is right brainiest please.
