If the area of a square is 49 square inches, how long must each side be?

Area of a square=(side)²
or,49 = (side)²
or,side = √49 or 7

So, each side is 7 inch long

As you may know, all sides of a square are equal.
Area = side².
In this case:
49 = side²
side = √49
side = 7.
Each side is 7 square inches.
