The pattern for 12,24,72,288 is 12,24,72,288,1440,8640,60480 and so on.The explanation for this pattern is first 12 is multiplied by 2 which gives 24.Then 24 is multiplied by 3 which gives 72,72 multiplied by 4 which gives 288,288 multiplied by 5 which gives 1440 and it continued by multiplying the next number in the pattern.Eg by multiplying 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 etc...
