The answer would be 153.86... First of all let's establish the formula to work out the area if a circle - it's area = pi * (radius * radius)... Then let's substitute the values... So we know that the diameter is 14 inches so that must mean the radius is 7 inches, since the radius is simply half of the diameter... Then we multiply pi (I am using 3.14) with 49 inches (since 7 * 7 = 49)... Then the answer you get is 153.86
