It would be 6=6

As you are given y, you would plug in the 1 into the equation which gives you 6=2(1+2) after, you use PEMDAS or GEMDAS, you add 1+2 which gives you 3 leaving you with 6=2(3) and lastly you multiply 2(3) which is 6 so 6=6!! Hope this helps!!!
