hey can someone explain me the phrase "is second childness and mere oblivion" from the "All the words a stage" urgent​

Second Childishness is basically old age. Old people during the time they are old act like small children. While mere oblivion means that the old person is really helpless and has just forgotten everything. Shakespeare wrote about the seven ages of man, in which he describes the human journey from helpless child to adult and back to helpless child again
