Each potassium vial is 2mEq/ml so for the bag of 20mEq/ 1000ml

2mEq = 1ml

20mEq = x

20/2 =10

so you will add 10ml of the potassium into the 1000ml

For a 24hr period you would need total of 3000ml

that is 125ml/hr x 24 hrs = 3000ml

For the potassium that would be 30ml
